Job summary

Cardinal Group is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to protect and enhance community value and resident experience. You will resolve resident maintenance issues promptly and maintain facilities and grounds to standard.

Responsibilities include safe operation and repair of equipment, after-hours on-call duties, and ensuring pool/spa maintenance and water chemistry compliance. Physical requirements include lifting 75 lbs and standing long shifts, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and basic maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must lift at least 75 lbs and stand 8-12 hours.
• Weekend work and on-call emergencies required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Safely operates, maintains, and repairs facility equipment per health, safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Responds to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call maintenance.
• Inspects public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards.
• Complies with air conditioning/refrigeration and refrigerant handling procedures.
• Maintains proper water chemistry and sanitation for pools/spas as required.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Participates in Cardinal U training as required.
