Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. You will help install, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, and vehicles to support production. The role requires basic electrical/mechanical skills, strong documentation, and the ability to work with multiple teams.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with the maintenance specialist. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced training in a relevant field preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial plant maintenance preferred.
• Strong documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and installations of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems with assistance.
• Assist in repairs of mechanical or electrical problems.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts and reassemble equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on various equipment.
• Inspect mobile equipment and perform required PMs.
• Provide facilities maintenance such as lighting, plumbing, and cleaning.
• Advise on items needing more attention or repairs.
• Provide emergency attention and repairs to maintain production.
• Read and interpret facility blueprints with assistance.
• Prepare and clean work areas; manage tools and materials.
• Oversee outside contractors as needed.
• Source parts and supplies from catalogs or storerooms.
• Basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
