Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Test Technician II in Canonsburg, PA to support daily production testing of electromechanical assemblies and automated manufacturing tech. You will work within the Power and Thermal Management Team and help implement software/hardware systems, train operators, and provide technical support.

The role requires a two-year technical degree, 2+ years in electrical testing, and strong LabVIEW knowledge.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent in electrical/electronic field.
• Minimum 2 years in electrical/electronic testing or related experience.
• Knowledge of high-voltage safety practices.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and assembly instructions.
• Proficient use of hand and power tools.
• Awareness of international test standards (UL/NEC/IEC/CE).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, repair and troubleshoot test systems and automation.
• Validate software/hardware functionality before deployment or after updates.
• Update LabVIEW source code under guidance.
• Develop and provide training materials for internal and external sites.
• Provide technical support through Help Desk and escalate as needed.
• Maintain test equipment inventory and calibration compliance.
• Create technical documentation and installation instructions.
• Assist Test Engineers and outfit new assembly lines with test equipment.
• Investigate and resolve production test issues and identify improvements.
