Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Pittston, PA to troubleshoot, repair and service electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems on molding equipment and plant machinery. You will read schematics, log work, and collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role requires strong PLC programming skills, the ability to lift heavy loads, and a proven track record in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems in manufacturing environments.
• Strong PLC programming skills; able to read schematics and diagnose complex problems.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced, safety‑driven setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and replace electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and optic systems.
• Inspect parts and equipment; communicate with Maintenance Manager about parts and supplies.
• Read programmable controller information to diagnose problems and repair motor controls.
• Replace belts, pulleys, cables, bearings, gears and related components.
• Log all work performed and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Operate a forklift safely and perform PMs on molding machines and equipment.
