Job summary

ZRS Management in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver skilled, safe, and reliable service to residents. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and routine upkeep.

This hands-on role covers apartment Turnover in 3–5 days, preventive maintenance, and on-call duties. A valid driver’s license and clear communication with residents are required; EPA certification is preferred and must be obtained within 90 days if

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred; if required, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, appliances, and any other aspect as needed.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and window cleaning.
• Monitor building exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc.
• Help maintain a preventive maintenance program for areas of responsibility.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly and observe safety rules.
• Be willing to work on-call hours.
