Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide skilled, professional service to residents and support the Maintenance Supervisor. The role involves repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and ongoing preventive maintenance to protect the property.

The position emphasizes turnover work with 3–5 day completion, safe operations, and accurate equipment inventory. A valid driver’s license and ability to work on-call are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred. If required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances is required or highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, appliances, and any other area as needed.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance in 3–5 business days with turnover checklist completion.
• Maintain common areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, etc. and observe safety rules.
• Monitor building exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc., and assist in preventive maintenance programs.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory; keep the work area clean and orderly.
