Job summary

ARAUCO is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, maintain, and repair mill machinery, and to perform preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and setup across conveyors and pumps.

You will troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, replace motors and sensors, manage power distribution, document work in the CMMS, and promote safe practices. The role may require nights, weekends, and on-call duties in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installation, maintenance, preventive/predictive maintenance, setup, troubleshooting, and repair of mill machinery
• Provide electrical support for hydraulics, pneumatics, hot oil systems, pumps, fans, and conveyors
• Replace motors (low/high voltage), motor starters, sensors, and variable frequency drives
• Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, associated I/O, and control networks
• Maintain mill power distribution (480V-13.8kV)
• Document work in the CMMS
• Promote safe work practices (LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, etc.)
