Job summary

GardenCore LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, using blueprints, and performing preventive tasks to keep machines running smoothly.

The role requires at least 3 years of maintenance/electrician experience, PLC familiarity, and a solid safety background, with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Ohio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance/electrician experience, with at least two years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs and ability to read schematics.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of safety programs, particularly lock-out/tag-out procedures, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment, electrical components and special purpose machines as assigned.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions following checklists.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly.
• Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
• Contribute to team goals with independent thinking in a collaborative environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
