Job summary

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Atlanta-area facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and servicing of mechanical and electrical systems.

You will interpret manuals, diagrams, and work orders and collaborate with a team to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical training; 2-3 years experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams and work orders.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machinery reliability through preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read diagrams and work orders to perform maintenance tasks.
• Assemble, install, calibrate and replace equipment and parts as needed.
• Follow plant safety policies and participate in safety initiatives.
• Guide junior maintenance colleagues and share knowledge.
