Job summary

WMFHA in Roswell, NM seeks a Maintenance Technician for a high-volume food manufacturing facility. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems to minimize downtime and support production through disciplined troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Requirements include a 2-year technical degree, 4+ years in industrial maintenance (food manufacturing preferred), 5–7 years PLC experience, and CMMS experience (SAP preferred).

Qualifications

• Must have served in a US military branch as listed.
• Minimum 4 years industrial maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred).
• 5–7 years PLC experience in industrial environments preferred.
• Advanced experience with CMMS systems (SAP a plus).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems to minimize downtime.
• Complete scheduled PM work orders through CMMS (SAP preferred) with proper calibration and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair three-phase (480V/220V) systems and PLC/SLC programs to restore operations.
• Calibrate instrumentation and update PLC programs when necessary.
• Maintain GMP compliance, PPE use, and safety in a 24/7 facility.
