Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to help maintain the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality across buildings, grounds, and common areas.

The role covers work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacant units, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and documentation. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification is required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for all Service Technicians.

Responsabilités

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating maintenance punch lists.
• Tracks materials and returns unused items to the appropriate location; notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible.
