Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician at Avana Matthews in Matthews, NC. The role performs technical and mechanical work to ensure building and common areas meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making repairs, preparing vacants, inspecting contractor work, maintaining grounds, and supporting cost-control efforts. Must have EPA Type 1/II or Universal certifications and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Maintains property by completing work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Follows safety procedures, OSHA rules, and code requirements.
• Keeps accurate documentation of service requests and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Inspect and document quality of repairs by contractors and vendors.
• Assist with groundskeeping, cleaning, and minor painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing where feasible.
