Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and making-ready tasks for vacants, with vendor coordination and accurate documentation. Onsite role with robust benefits and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks on residential properties.
• Ability to diagnose and repair defects in building systems.
• Strong customer-service orientation and responsiveness to residents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose source of defects and complete repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
• Document work orders accurately and promptly for records.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
• Attend safety trainings (OSHA) and follow safety policies.
