Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Fourth Street East in Oakland to ensure safe, clean, and functional buildings and amenities. You will handle work orders, preventative tasks, and make-readies while coordinating with vendors and managing supplies.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with safety standards. On-site responsibilities include grounds maintenance and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.
• State/local certifications as required for service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute make-ready tasks for vacant units and inspect for quality before leasing.
• Track inventory, request supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Document service actions accurately for ticket closure and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and minor repairs.
• Support cost-control by repairs over replacements when feasible and safe.
