Job summary

Cardinal Group in Lubbock, TX, is hiring a Maintenance Team Member (Full-Time, non-exempt) to protect, maintain, and enhance the value of our community by promptly resolving resident maintenance issues. This role supports facilities and grounds upkeep while ensuring resident comfort and safety.

The position requires 3-5 years of maintenance experience, the ability to lift 75 lbs, occasional weekend work, and on-call availability. Join a team that values safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs and stand 8-12 hour shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on-call emergencies.
• Ability to embody Cardinal Culture and Core Values daily.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds per community objectives.
• Operates, maintains, and repairs facility equipment following safety and OSHA policies.
• Responds to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call maintenance.
• Inspects public areas and apartments to ensure maintenance standards.
• Complies with EPA requirements for air conditioning and refrigerant handling.
• Maintains water chemistry and sanitation for pools/spas.
• Keeps storage areas and tools secure at all times.
• Participates in Cardinal U training as required.
