Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the operation of our community buildings and grounds in Virginia Beach. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Daily tasks include responding to resident work orders, performing routine on-site maintenance, and ensuring inventory of tools and supplies. Must be able to work an on-call schedule and meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform essential maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Must be able to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsabilités

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and notify management upon completion or delays.
• Maintain daily repair and upkeep of the community.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Care for inventory of supplies and equipment owned by the community/company.
• Keep work area and tools clean and organized.
