Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards across lawns, breezeways, pools, and common areas. You will diagnose defects, perform preventative maintenance, prepare makes-ready units, manage inventory, and document work orders, with on-site duties and rotating on-call responsibilities.

Required EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1/II or Universal) is required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property may be required.
• Ability to perform routine and preventive maintenance per safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Contribute to cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.

Education

EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification
