Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, and amenities at our properties. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure safety and cleanliness per standards.

Responsibilities include completing make-ready tasks, inspecting work, managing supplies, and assisting with preventative maintenance. The role requires EPA certifications, a valid driver's license, and willingness to on-call evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required.
• State/local certifications for service technicians required.
• Valid driver's license to operate on-property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on units and common areas per safety standards.
• Complete make-readies for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor for reorders.
• Document service requests accurately for records.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing where possible.
