Job summary

Greystar is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical standards of our apartment communities. The role involves diagnosing and repairing building systems, performing make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and ensuring safety and compliance in daily operations.

You will conduct routine maintenance, help with grounds and facility upkeep, and participate in safety trainings. A valid EPA certification, state/local certifications, and a valid driver's license are required; on-site

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications.
• All state and local jurisdictions certifications as required for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Carry out the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Access and manage materials, supplies, and tools from the maintenance department; track usage and re-order as needed.
• Complete documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure proper records.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing them when possible.

Education

EPA Type 1 and II or Universal certifications

State and Local certifications as required

Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart
