Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties in top condition. You will perform repairs, maintain equipment, and prepare vacant units for occupancy, with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems plus handyman experience are required. AMC offers competitive pay from $17 to $18 per hour, along with benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate hand tools, including power tools.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tools are on hand as needed.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniforms.
• Comply with OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Be available for on-call work.
• Secure maintenance shops at close.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Respond to evictions and 24-hour service requests.
