Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property operations. You will perform daily repairs, prep vacant units, and manage supplies, while upholding safety and professional standards.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work, good communication, and handyman experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and pay of $21.00–$22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate hand tools including power tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of property and vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure needed tools are on hand.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Be available for on-call work.
• Secure maintenance shops daily.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs and 24-hour service responses.
