Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair the property and grounds, including preparing vacant units for occupancy. You will manage tools, inventory, and safety while providing reliable 24/7 response as needed.

Applicants should have handyman experience, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time on-site role with a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/handyman work.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Ability to operate hand tools including power tools.
• Effective communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and preparation of vacant units.
• Maintain and keep an inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and property uniform.
• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies at all times.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and 24-hour service requests.
