The role requires working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, reliable on-call availability, and strong communication with residents and team members. AMC offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Hands-on repair and maintenance of property facilities
• Ability to read and follow written/oral instructions

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant units preparation
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding property or residents
• Maintain professional appearance and property uniform
• Operate within OSHA standards and safety policies at all times
• Be available to work on an on-call basis
• Secure maintenance shop at close of day
• Remove snow and ice as necessary
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and respond within 24 hours
