Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep buildings and grounds in top condition. You’ll repair daily issues, prep vacant units, manage supplies, and uphold safety standards across the property.

Operate hand and power tools, follow written or oral instructions, and respond to on-call needs. Full-time with competitive pay and benefits; growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and property uniform.
• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies at all times.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shop at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and respond 24/7.
