Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Duarte, CA to perform maintenance and ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards. The role involves completing work orders, making-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and documenting service details.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Maintenance experience (Prior Electrical experience and HVAC Certified Preferred).
• EPA Type 1/2 or Universal refrigerant certifications required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and conduct pre-move‑out inspections.
• Track inventory and coordinate materials with the maintenance supervisor.
• Document work orders accurately for proper service tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible.
