Job summary

Avanti Residential is seeking a Service Technician for Villas at Mountain Vista in Surprise, AZ. You’ll prepare units for new move-ins, handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs, and keep logs updated.

On-call duties are required to respond to emergencies after hours, with safety and quality as top priorities. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of relevant experience, and certifications such as EPA Type II; CAMT and CPO are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred but not required.
• CPO certification preferred for applicable properties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Maintain property safety and report hazards immediately to management.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call coverage.
• Perform grounds cleanup and light landscaping when possible.
