Job summary

Island Palm Communities is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance across rental units, offices, and grounds in a Hawaii community. Responsibilities include responding to service calls, completing COM work, and maintaining safety and quality in all tasks.

The role requires basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills, plus the ability to read and communicate in English. On-site schedule is 7am–3:30pm with potential OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and complete COM work and general maintenance tasks.
• Perform maintenance across rental units, offices, and grounds, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Update work orders with time, materials, and notes; maintain safety standards.
