Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• Ability to exert 25–50 lbs of force frequently and 10–20 lbs constantly.
• Reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sharp professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with various software.

Responsibilities

• Show care for residents through service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Preserve building beauty and community safety through general upkeep, snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after-hours emergencies.
