Job summary

Reliant Care Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support our facility's upkeep and resident safety. You will perform painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs, respond to work orders, and perform routine inspections to prevent issues.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll work with a team to maintain clean, safe environments and assist with seasonal tasks and on-call maintenance as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance duties including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours on-call maintenance as needed.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and pest control.
