Reliant Care Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support general maintenance across our facilities in Kansas City, MO. You will perform repairs, respond to work orders, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in work areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic trade knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Driving may be preferred depending on facility needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior building maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance duties including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours on-call maintenance as needed.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and pest control.
