Job summary

Wis-Pak is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Nebraska to maintain beverage manufacturing equipment, respond to trouble calls, and perform preventative maintenance while upholding safety, sanitation, and efficiency standards.

The role requires the ability to work Sunday–Saturday, with a pay rate of $30.30/hr and potential for travel to technical sites. The team offers comprehensive benefits and PTO in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis, with no visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary for the role.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily and work in damp, noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, health, quality, and GMP policies.
• Respond to equipment trouble calls and perform safe, efficient repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and document tasks and deficiencies.
• Perform bench repairs and operate power tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Complete and file documentation in an organized, timely manner.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining equipment, responding to trouble calls, and performing preventative maintenance--all while upholding the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Responding promptly to equipment trouble calls and performing efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and documenting tasks, time, and any deficiencies.
• Performing bench repairs and operating power tools, hand tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Completing and filing all required documentation in an organized and timely manner.
