Job summary

Wis-Pak in Mankato, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) to maintain equipment, respond to trouble calls, and perform preventative maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, sanitation and efficiency, with opportunities to contribute to continuous plant reliability.

You will work with power tools, hand tools, welding and cutting equipment, and man lifts, while documenting tasks and supporting a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis (no visa sponsorship)
• Ability to read/write/speak/understand English to perform duties
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily and work in variable environments
• Willingness to travel to technical schools and support team learning

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality, GMP, and company policies.
• Respond to equipment trouble calls and perform safe repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and document tasks.
• Perform bench repairs and operate power/hand tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Complete and file all required documentation in a timely manner

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining equipment, responding to trouble calls, and performing preventative maintenance--all while upholding the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Responding promptly to equipment trouble calls and performing efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and documenting tasks, time, and any deficiencies.
• Performing bench repairs and operating power tools, hand tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Completing and filing all required documentation in an organized and timely manner.
