Job summary

Aeon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at properties in South Minneapolis, supporting 210 apartment homes across four buildings. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no on‑call responsibilities, focusing on safe, well‑maintained homes for residents.

You'll perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and turnovers, working closely with the Property Manager and a team of technicians to ensure quality workmanship, safety, and responsive service to residents in

Qualifications

Experience in general apartment or building maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with residents, coworkers, vendors, and contractors.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Must own basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance service requests promptly and professionally.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and other building systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents and ensure safety/appearance prior to move-in.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and grounds; assist with seasonal tasks.
Support property inspections, vendor access, and other operational activities.
