Your Mission:

The Maintenance Technician II position provides electrical/mechanical support to the manufacturing facility in the areas of manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair, and facility/utility maintenance and repair. This position requires competency in the analysis and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment. The Maintenance Technician II employs a positive, professional attitude at all times and communicates effectively in a team environment that includes personnel from management, maintenance, production, sanitation, quality assurance, etc.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and share knowledge of applicable mechanical concepts/principles with other Maintenance personnel.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and utilities (e.g., compressed air, water boilers, HVAC units, refrigeration systems).
• Help ensure plant and manufacturing equipment are in compliance with all government and internal policies including FDA, USDA, HACCP, OSHA, GMP, and others.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair of facility electrical equipment, including single-phase AC circuits, three-phase AC circuits, DC circuits, and Variable Frequency Drives.
• Resolve hydraulic and pneumatic issues as required.
• Execute position requirements with little or no supervision.
• Use gas and electric welding equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC and motor controls.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical manuals, schematics, and P&ID’s.
• Provide technical assistance to reduce/eliminate issues related to equipment, performance, quality, and safety.
• Inform appropriate personnel of modifications or malfunctions affecting operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure production line equipment is operational for subsequent shifts.
• Maintain tools in good condition and report damages.

What You'll Bring:

• High school Diploma or GED.
• At least four years of industrial maintenance experience or advanced education in electrical, mechanical, or electronics.
• Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and other regulations.
• Ability to obtain the required assessment level for Maintenance Technician II.
• Willingness to work extended hours when needed.
• Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with detail-oriented tasks requiring accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
