Job Description

The Maintenance Technician maintains production equipment, applying technical skills to maximize equipment availability, troubleshoot failures, and perform repairs. The role often requires working independently, sometimes as the sole technician on shift.

Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance support including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, often independently
  • Handle plant breakdowns during off-hours as the sole technician
  • Assist with installation and startup of new equipment
  • Maintain and upgrade electrical and equipment documentation
  • Participate in developing equipment specifications and safety practices
  • Optional: manage work tickets, maintenance metrics, and lead equipment modification projects
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed
