TCP Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Our Optical Communications segment: Provides comprehensive optical solutions for communications industry, including carrier and enterprise networks.

Position Purpose

Ensure equipment operates efficiently through preventative maintenance, calibration, and prompt breakdown repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, minimizing equipment downtime.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately in CMMS (AS 400 and Maximo).
• Communicate effectively with coordinators, supervisors, and operators about issues and changes.
• Support production and engineering with maintenance needs.
• Design maintenance requirements for new machinery or upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineering on projects.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for maintenance and repairs.
• Procure parts for projects or repairs as needed.
• Promote a safety-conscious team environment.

Working Conditions

• Generally good working conditions with occasional heavy lifting.
• Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, but within tolerable limits.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to an accredited apprenticeship or 2-year technical college degree.
• Understanding of machine functions and processes.
• Proficiency with tools and measurement devices listed, such as voltmeters, calipers, and machining tools.

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. Compensation ranges from $29.75 to $34.50 hourly, based on experience and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), pension, life insurance, disability, and PTO.
