Job summary

ARI Apartment Management in Summerville, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site upkeep, respond to service requests, and prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status while delivering friendly, responsive resident service. The role covers diverse trades—plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliance repairs—and requires after-hours availability on a rotation.

A high school diploma and 3+ years of maintenance experience are preferred; a valid driver's license is

Qualifications

3+ years general maintenance experience (i.e. plumbing, electrical, carpeting, and painting, etc.)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school and/or military training a plus.
CPO preferred, or willing to obtain within 60 days of employment.
Valid driver's license with good driving record and auto insurance.
Ability to work on-call rotation, responding to after hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and courteously to service requests, ensuring resident satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained community environment.
Improve vacant apartments, making them market-ready and welcoming for new residents.
Perform diverse maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliance repairs, and more.
