Job summary

Horizon Realty Advisors is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role supports all property maintenance tasks under the Maintenance Supervisor, handling service requests, preventive maintenance, capital projects, and turnover processes to keep the property safe and well-maintained.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in property maintenance. HVAC, EPA, and other certifications are preferred. The schedule is 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years in property maintenance or related role.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests promptly per policy.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Inspect units for move-in readiness and manage make-ready cycles.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and capital improvements as assigned.
• Regularly inspect grounds and buildings for safety and cleanliness.

Skills

1-2 years maintenance experience

Basic building systems knowledge

Valid driver’s license
