Mercy Housing Miriam Apartments in Chicago, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician for on-site property upkeep. You will complete work orders, perform repairs, and ensure clean and hazard-free turnover of apartments while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

This is an on-site position.

Pay: $20-23/hour, dependent on experience.

• Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday)
• Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours)
