Job summary

Employnet, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician/Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, reading blueprints and manuals, and supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives. A high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and basic electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Inspect equipment, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions.

• Support Lean Manufacturing and TPM initiatives.

Job description

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who thrives on troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly?

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician/Mechanic to join our team and play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment and facility systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, flow diagrams, and one-line drawings
• Troubleshoot basic electrical systems using knowledge of voltage, amperage, resistance, and power
• Inspect equipment, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives
• Perform facility maintenance, including plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues
• Support production and facility needs as required
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and basic electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and industrial equipment troubleshooting
• Basic welding, plumbing, and carpentry skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and accountability
• Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
