Job description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial maintenance to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment such as conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and automation systems.
  • Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to downtime.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repairs and maintenance.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools (multimeters, vibration analyzers, thermal imagers, etc.) for problem-solving.
  • Support production teams by responding quickly to breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Operate fork trucks, boom lifts, and telescoping booms for repairs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Fabrication and welding.
  • Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and automated equipment (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Understanding of safety protocols, LOTO procedures, and OSHA standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Comfortable working in hot, cold, or noisy conditions as required.
  • Able to climb ladders, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
