Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment, repair and upgrade production equipment using hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmissions, welding, machining, and pipe fitting.
  • Change bearings, motors, gearboxes, conveyor belts, sprockets, rollers, and drive chains; replace hydraulic hoses, cylinders and electric motors.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
  • Lead and follow safety guidelines and housekeeping standards to ensure a safe work environment.

Job description

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems as needed. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment, repairing, and upgrading all types of production equipment using their knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmissions, welding, machining, pipe fitting to provide support to operations.
  • Changing bearings, motors, gearboxes, conveyor belts, sprockets, rollers, and drive chains as needed. Replace hydraulic hoses, hydraulic cylinders and electric motors.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and follow safety guidelines as well as housekeeping standards to ensure a safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
  • The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required. As well as meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
  • Strong hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.
  • Ability to interpret assembly schematics for installation, and equipment repair.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and have the ability and willingness to stand or walk during the entire shift while working in a moderate to noisy manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. With the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual preferred - Spanish.
  • Experience with basic fabrication and welding techniques.
  • Experience in commissioning, and start-up of industrial equipment.
  • Experience with Plasma/Laser Cutting tables.
  • Experience with Press brake machines.
  • Experience in heavy-equipment operating (Track mobile, Skid Steer, Boom Lift, Forklift, Overhead cranes) in an Industrial/Outdoor Work Environment.
