Jobot is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturing facility. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and plant systems to minimize downtime and boost reliability.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade-school degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Proficient in welding, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of manufacturing regulations.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit to lift heavy objects and work in varied conditions.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if needed.
• Proactive, reliable and committed to minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and fixes.
• Utilize welding skills to repair and maintain equipment.
• Work with hydraulic systems to keep them at peak performance.
• Carry out electrical repairs and installations per safety regs.
• Read manuals and work orders to complete maintenance tasks.
• Document maintenance activity and materials used.
• Collaborate with operations to prioritize work orders.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
