Job description

The Maintenance Technician will work hands‑on with advanced machinery, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and contribute to the ongoing success of plant operations. Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair automated production equipment, including PLC-controlled, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on manufacturing equipment
  • Perform emergency repairs during production as well as scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Install, maintain, and assist with setup of new equipment and machinery
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders
  • Diagnose equipment failures, replace defective parts, test systems, and make necessary adjustments
  • Perform basic machinist duties and fabrication tasks as needed
  • Assist with facility maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and general building upkeep
  • Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, or unusual maintenance concerns
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following all company safety procedures
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a technical apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation preferred
  • HVAC experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
