Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness to meet company standards. You will diagnose and repair issues, manage work orders, and coordinate with vendors for make-ready tasks.

The role involves routine inspections, inventory management, and occasional on-site travel. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications are required, with competitive benefits and overtime possibilities.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required by technicians.
• State and local certifications as applicable to responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf carts on property where required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and general cleaning tasks as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal

State and Local jurisdiction certifications

Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart
