Job summary

RangeWater is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Sterling Nashville West property. You will perform skilled mechanical tasks, address resident requests, and ensure facilities meet safety and quality standards.

This role requires hands-on problem solving and the ability to work in a dynamic community. Responsibilities include completing work orders on schedule, assisting with make-ready, managing inventory, and verifying vendor work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong communication and delivery skills; able to connect with residents and teams.
• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata/Yardi/One Site).

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders from residents within 24–48 hours and perform maintenance tasks.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and manage punch lists with vendors.
• Repair rather than replacing parts when possible to control costs.
• Track inventory and return unused items; notify supervisor when reordering.
• Inspect contractor work for quality and safety; participate in safety meetings.
• Provide excellent resident service and document work for records.
