Job summary

Davis Development, a privately owned luxury apartment developer and property management company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain safe, secure and comfortable living environments. You will handle routine maintenance, coordinate make-readies, and ensure regulatory compliance across properties.

Ideal candidates bring two+ years of related experience, relevant EPA/OSHA certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in related field.
• EPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certifications are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Good judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Ability to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipment.
• Must be able to respond to emergency requests.
• Valid driver’s license and daily transportation for getting supplies.
• May need to drive a golf cart.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair on all units and equipment.
• Move heavy appliances and equipment between storage and apartments as needed.
• Inspect and coordinate make-ready repairs and services after move-out.
• Comply with EPA, OSHA, and pool regulations for safe storage and handling of hazardous materials.
• Create and assist with work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Schedule vendors and contractors responsible for curb appeal.
• Ensure amenities and grounds are finished and ready for review.
• Walk move-outs to assess damages and report results to the Maintenance Supervisor.
