Job description

An Industrial Tech Lead in the corrugated box industry oversees the implementation and management of technology to improve manufacturing processes, quality control, and overall operations. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technicians, collaborating with various departments, and staying current with industry trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems on the corrugated box machines.
• Perform preventative care such as lubrication and cosmetic repair on Saturdays.
• Change relays, sensors, and small PLCs; work on electrical components.
• Experience as a maintenance technician with troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in mechanical systems and mechanics.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with motors and electrical components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and capable of assembly and disassembly.
• Should own basic tools.

The work environment requires flexibility to work multiple shifts, including weekends. Maintenance Technicians should be prepared to work 1st or 2nd shift, with the main shift being 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The 2nd shift runs from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 12:00 AM. Candidates should be ready to work every Saturday morning to midday, with one day off during the week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $38.00/hr.
