Job Title: Travel Medical Equipment Field Technician

Job Description:

The travel technician will be responsible for installing and replacing assigned medical equipment on behalf of our OEM partner.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform installation and replacement of assigned medical equipment
  2. Willingness to travel for extended periods
  3. Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns
  4. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database, including inventory, performance assurance schedules, nomenclature, and service history
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military training
  2. Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare or clinical engineering environment
  3. Valid driver’s license; ability to travel, possibly using personal vehicle
  4. Intermediate computer skills, including system administration, interpreting error codes, hard drive defragmentation, replacing power supplies, interpreting computer codes, and networking concepts
  5. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
