RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Foreman Low Voltage Technician starting ASAP.

Job Title: Foreman Low Voltage Technician
Location: Nationwide Travel (95% of the time)
Duration: Contract to Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description: Looking for self-motivated reliable technicians for service and special installation projects who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job.

Requirements:

1. Experience as a Data Cable Technician
2. Extensive nationwide travel 4-6 months at a time.
3. Strong knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA)
4. Can read blueprints and site maps
5. Experience in CCTV, voice and data cabling a big plus
6. Excellent customer relationship and communication skills (written and verbal)
7. Comfortable working and collaborating with teams of 4-20 technicians
8. Knowledge of color codes. Able to discern individual colors
9. Work in cramped spaces
10. Lift experience
11. Basic industry hand tools, PPE, and reliable transportation (car) and clean valid driver's license
12. Knowledge of cabling infrastructure

Responsibilities:

1. Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructures
2. Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work
3. Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled accordingly to safety regulations
4. Installing cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
5. Repairing cable poles and towers
6. Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational
7. Troubleshoot issues with the cable network
